The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, demons, and sinister influences growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to begin their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then settled his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to the northern region in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which characters will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
