The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
